Do you ever get an idea and find it so jolly and straight foreward that you cannot imagine ANY difficulties about it what so ever and then when you start - you realize that you ONCE AGAIN have put yourself in a very challenging position?

I sure do.. actually I do it so often that the real surprise is that it surprises me.

December Is my month for playing around with new mediums.

In december I take time to explore new mediums- in 2021 I did 23 days where I challenged myself to make a new cut everyday. From Dec. 1. - 23.

It was an interesting task to give myself.

The first days were easy - then I got to the point where I didn’t had any ideas left. This is the point of struggle and emptiness. But it also generates space for something new to enter. At the same moment it is where the process no longer is driven by stored inspiration but by disciplined creation. Trusting the process and embracing the uncomfortable is crucial for me when I find myself crashing into that momentarily wall. And I really need to lean into my experience that if I, despite struggling, continue I step into a state of creative flow.

Message from the proces

Very often the first thing I create after hitting the wall carries a message to me

And this lino-cut is no exception.

It reminds me that taking care of my dreams and nursing them is an action of love

to the hopeful child in me.

Happy new year to everyone with the hope that we all remember that manifesting our heartfelt dreams create a beautiful reality for everyone.

May your wildest dreams come true

Trust the process never give up ✨
